Hello all to this weeks double Cherry Post!
Most of this is going to be about my small holiday down in Cornwall which I’m writing this from but it’s going to be a good post regardless!
Lets go all the way back to the Saturday after the last post, when I revealed some dry rollers I ordered a few days previously because I needed some new ones. The lil one is sooo cute!!
I said bye to the Bonfirecherry youtube channel last week, I be honest the views I was getting was good so thought I transfer everything to social media because the views were better.
It took a few hours to transfer 60% of Bonfirecherrys most recent videos that I’ve got saved on my sd card and downloaded from the YouTube channel over to Twitter which was easy to do, to upload to Instagram you have to log on Insta on your pc and then go to IGTV which was a new thing for me to do.
I gave it a few hours to upload the same videos to Facebook but happy that all my videos on now on my social media!
Me and dene recorded new Bonfire Banter Podcast content last week, we did have something special planned but at the last moment we had to re-think so we recorded episode 38 and 39 which me and dene had to think of the episode subject on the spot so it was fun haha
Saturday was the start of my small break with family to Cornwall, it took us around 6-ish hours to get to Looe, Cornwall which is a home base for the week!
We chilled in the caravan for the day til Sunday morning.
I woke up early the following morning to walk around the caravan park and then up to the start of Looe village which is near the bay that we were planned to visit later.
Me and the family have been to Looe a few times in the past so we know what to expect but my mums’ friend and her daughter have never been to Cornwall so they were in for a treat this week!
We got down to Looe Bay early around 9-ish and took a slow walk down to the beach where the Cornwall virgins I was will call them stayed for most of the day haha unlike me they can tan, I only burn.
For me trip to Cornwall was to rest and get inspiration. Not sure how I came across it online but found out about The Sardine Factory which is the home of Looe’s Heritage centre. I’ve recorded the trip which I show possibly next week. It was good to know the history of Looe as always been curious.
I went on another morning walk on Monday, this time to a beach down the road behind where we are staying called Meredith beach, it was about a 30 minute down a road no path so thought going down the early hours was the safer option.
Anyway, I like to believe the walk was worth it as you can see above especially with the sunrise!
The day brought us a brand new episode of the Bonfire Banter Podcast, aka episode 37 which is about when things go wrong, listen in full via The Great Shows here
, hope you enjoy 😊
We’ve got guests planned for the next 3 weeks, more about that the following weeks!
Tuesday was one of my most favourite days because we travelled to Polperro which I remembered from previous trips was absolutely beautiful (we were limited where we could travel because of there being so much tourists down here including us) and I was right this time!
I got so much inspiration while down there that I’ve got plenty of ideas for designs that I hope to show off in the future.
While I was down there I did discover a small artist called Jasmine Rebecca, I had to mention her in this post as I did on Facebook/Instagram because it’s feels great to support fellow small artists and her stuff is amazing!
Kind of jealous of her as I would love to live and run Bonfirecherry from Cornwall for a variety of reasons.
Wednesday, we returned to Looe to try crab fishing which was really fun!
Throughout the time down in Cornwall I’ve been using my Instax camera I bought last year because I love instant film, I’ve been taking some great shots with them which I will use for inspiration for a series of prints which as I mentioned earlier will see in a few weeks!
Overall, this trip has been very inspirational.
I think that’s everything for this double Cherry Post, thanks for reading!
