The Cherry Post No.199 | Connecting

Hello all to this week’s Cherry Post!

Before I start, lets talk about last week’s Youtube video that went live the day after last week’s Cherry Post, I talked about the difference of selling on Etsy vs your own website if you sell handmade products like Bonfirecherry does. Please give it a watch and tell me what you think!

With that out of the way, let’s talk about  one of the main highlights of the past 7  days and that was meeting the amazing/pretty Anna Considine whom runs Anna Considine Photography!

This was the first time meeting Anna like this but in a way I’ve felt like I’ve known her for years as I will explain. This wasn’t my first time connecting with an Considine, I’ve met her mum and possibly Anna in the past as I used to see them a few times when I’ve done fairs in Northampton over the years.

Anyway I met up with Anna at the Zapato Lounge, a good place to meet in Northampton and talked about ourselves for awhile which was good to do.

I might be interviewing Anna in the future for The Cherry Ladies Interviews but not now as I’ve interviewed 2 photographers already and want to have chats with other creative ladies before another photographer again 😊.

You can find out more about Anna here.

I returned to the print shed on Friday to record 2 new videos for the Bonfirecherry youtube channel.

The first video I recorded was this month The Paper Gang stationery subscription box, as always there was some great stuff in the box.

Shortly after I recorded the unboxing, I then recorded “Bonfirecherry Explains |The One Piece Connection”, if you have following Bonfirecherry long enough you will know I’m a huge fan of the anime/manga series so decided to explain the connection between the two.

There was an accident with the lino for the Atmos The Unicorn design that it got split in half , it take me awhile to fix it so having to temporary remove it til further notice.

I finally brought the Japan inspired designs I showed off last November “Far Away Castle” (originally a custom design) and “Stay Cool” to the Bonfirecherry Shop!

I got around to produce a new design this week, trying to do more feminine designs so I like to introduce “Stay Unique”. What do you think?

I think that’s everything for this week, thanks for reading!
