The Cherry Post No.183 | Burned Out Bonfire

Hello all to this week’s Cherry Post

As usual before I start the CP, if you love anything around craft or business, I recommend you to check out the Bonfire Banter podcast. So far me and my friend Dene have talked about craft fairs to how to find your market. You can listen everything we have produced by checking out The Great Shows here, you can also listen to the podcast on iTunes, Spotify, Google Podcast & now Youtube!

With that plug out of the way, lets start this weeks CP!

I thought first I got into why there wasn’t a Cherry Post last week and why I’ve been quiet on social media and other stuff at times.

In short, I’m just creatively burned out at the moment, slowly getting back to normal as you find out in this post after this explanation.

Just in a bit of a rut at the moment, a combination of tons of OT at work for Japan, upcoming life changes and being quiet with Bonfirecherry just burned me out.

In this day in age, it’s being more common with people online to get burned out after time, want a break and recently it has been my time. So I just cut down a lot of time on social media or any print work just to relax, most of it was sleeping after work, housework and playing on Final Fantasy 8 Remaster on my switch (my all-time favourite game).

I just lost that spark for a while, the thing that gets you pumped to do something creative but due to some custom projects (1 that you will see in this post), it has helped get it back.

With the explanation out of the way, lets go into the things that Bonfirecherry got up to this week!

I start off with the Bonfirecherry Youtube Channel, last Saturday a new video went live about searching creative words on Wish.com and show off what I got. It’s  been a video I have been looking forward to publishing on the channel and happy its now live. Watch it above and comment below or on the video on what you think!

This weeks video is going to be a Paper Gang Unboxing!

For orders

I did produce new fabric Bonfirecherry logos for tote bags and stickers for orders which was fun.

Bonfirecherry has been busy planning some custom projects which I will be busy with the next few weeks. The first is some custom tote bags which I produced the first of on Wednesday and 20 others  on Thursday. I did love this design, what do you think?

I think that’s everything for this week, thanks for reading!
